I am Tara Linda, naturalist/ biologist, growing and harvesting California's native Sages. I believe we are all on a Sacred Journey and that our ceremony has the power to keep us whole and healthy. I love helping others to find and honor the Sacredness on their everyday (Magical!) journey!

I created Sacred Land Sage 10 years ago to source traditional and sustainably harvested sacred California plants for my own personal ceremony. Since then, we've expanded to include sacred plant families from many traditions and countries, curated seasonal gift kits, and services to celebrate and honor the changes in our lives. I’ve smudged homes and businesses for over 28 years, and now teach others the power and joy of crafting Ceremony.

I grew up in the American Southwest, finding arrowheads, stones, and shells in a desert filled with spirits: running Cholla, Palo Verde and his thorns, Coyote just-passing-through.
Though I left my first desert home, I was taught that rituals with plants and stones 'bring us home' to the Spirit of Lands that are special to us. I maintain these traditions today; Earth's treasured gifts~Stones and Sages, are considered in many traditions to be wise Spirits and ancient Helpers on the path; ‘good Medicine’ for body/mind/spirit.

I am certified in Subtle Energy Healing and Crystal Therapy, and Qi Gong.
I am joined by family members in planting, harvesting, and shipping efforts.

Our vision and purpose at Sacred Land Sage is based on a Cherokee story where Plant spirits told Creator that they would commit to helping humans by offering their lives as medicine for healing, to help humans find and keep their balance. By offering sages indigenous to North, Central, and South America with a long tradition of Sacred use, our mission is to provide a variety of special plants, stones and crystals for daily rituals that hold potential to bring Balance, Joy, and Peace to ourselves and positive energies to our spaces~ every day!

For over 28 years, I have made her own ceremonial sage blends, gathered from special places, and times of the year. I believe the saying "We are not humans having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience." I also believe that practices of stillness, enjoying nature, and rituals like Smudging~ are practices of staying whole and keeping our spiritual roots~ whatever they may be.
