Cedar Smudge Bundle (LRG 7-8") Purify/Clear Away Old Negative Energy. Native Altar, Smudge Stick, Dried Incense
Coastal Cedar~ the great purifier for self and home:
Pacific Coast Native tribes use this Cedar to Purify energies within and all around; to create Sacred Space~ a good companion to the White and Silver Sages. Widely used for all ceremony, cleansing, prayer, and protection rituals.
*Bundles come with Smudging Instructions.
~ Cedar is a strong Purifier: It clears one's space and energy of harmful or unwelcome negativity. It has an invigorating scent that rids of the old, and ritually "clears the air".
~ CEDAR SPIRIT: carries your intentions and prayers in its smoke, to the Sky and Heavens.
~ Cedar is often used to celebrate all things new: new job, new baby, new home. Also to re-claim one's space as new, and for starting new projects.
~ Cedar Spirit offers protection: we offer it for blessings before leaving on a journey, and to bless travelers.
~ Cedar and Juniper are often used together for protection, for banishing nightmares.
~ Cedar is used to stimulate dream awareness~Tsalagi Medicine Woman Dhyani Ywahoo recommends burning with Juniper before bedtime (Voices of our Ancestors).
1- large Cedar dried herb bundle (7-8"/avg 8 inches Long//20cm), 1.50-1.75" Wide/3-4cm). Will last a long time.
** When Smudging**: Open a window first for air flow. Light the bundle tip on the narrow end, blow out. Fan smoke toward the heart first and then moving over the head and all around the body to cleanse/clear. Cedar is good to ritually bless oneself, each other, and our living/working spaces. Cedar and Juniper scents can be stronger than the sages, so starting with a small amount is good. Adding your strong intentions means that a little will go a long way.
**PLEASE use care when burning your herb bundles** Do not leave a burning smudge wand unattended. Take extra care around children and pets. When finished burning, run the tip under running water to make sure the burning ember inside is fully extinguished. Hang it to dry, or just prop up in your bowl, for your next use. These herbs are not safe for consumption. Only use for sachets, or burning as incense.
