The Poemcrazy Art Journal~ Writing and Collage Workshop with author Susan Wooldridge
a two-day Creative Writing and Art Journaling Weekend Oct. 16-17, Sat/Sun Oakland, CA 9:30a-4:00 daily
Registration Closed Please join our Email list to learn of the next Spring Writing Retreat.
In the spirit of Susan's book poemcrazy, we will borrow, gather, jot, steal, and conjure words that invite soulful expression. Susan will encourage us to create a new vision for ourselves, and tap into our deepest creative selves- all while we write up a storm!
You will learn:
How to begin (or deepen) an ongoing, life-changing, and playful journal practice with collage elements.
The art of gathering words all around you that trigger fresh expression.
How to invite (and allow) your subconscious to freely inform and deepen your writing.
How imagery (and found objects) tap into hidden feelings and worlds.
How to paint pictures with words.
The art of gathering objects in nature for inspiration (we will walk to the Rose Garden, and will make special boxes).
Join us for this early Fall celebration honoring our creative selves and journey.
