CA White Sage variety has large, grey-green, wide leaves, and has an earthy sweet sage. Use daily or weekly as needed.
**"What is SMUDGING?** The originally Native Indian practice of burning sage/herbs for Blessing, offering, and creating Sacred Space; using smoke from Sacred Plants/herbs- to cleanse oneself, space, and energy in gratitude and prayer; practiced by tribes across North, Central, and South America for centuries.
Indigenous Tribes of all Directions use herbs individually or in combination with other herbs before and during ceremony. Herbs are burned to cleanse and embellish one's energy and space. Holding good intentions, move the smoke over you (smudging). Plant Spirits carry prayers and send our invocations and gratitude songs Skyward.
**PLEASE use care and wisdom when burning your herb bundles** Do not leave a burning smudge wand unattended. Take extra care around children and pets. When finished burning, run the tip under running water to make sure the burning ember inside is fully extinguished. Hang it to dry for your next use.
