Finish/ CUT: Rough, Raw cut; I sand the ends; sides are striate. Selenite is fragile; splinters and breaks easily if dropped (your piece will be inspected and wrapped well for shipping).

CARE: Selenite does Not need to be washed/cleansed. It is soft, semi-fragile- a form of gypsum and is water soluble. MOHs- 2.0. Brittle. When you get your piece: don't rinse with water- simply wipe off with a damp cloth. Ends are cut smooth- but being striated, some ends can chip. Handle with care.
