Obsidian is a sacred stone among many cultures. Known as a potent Protection, Purifying, and Grounding stone, Obsidian is quick-acting in absorbing negativity from the ourselves and spaces. Some find it soothing to a restless spirit. Most use obsidian for shadow work: it can bring things to the surface and into view.
*Black Lace Obsidian differs from the Black Obsidian in that it has smoky brown zones and patterns running through it, like stripes, or so called "lace". The striations run diagonal or vertical or horizontal. Amazing pieces.
*Uses: Keep in a medicine pouch, on your altar, or in rooms that you are smudging or wish to cleanse and balance. Make into jewelry.
*Obsidian: is formed when volcanic lava comes into contact with water. It cools so quickly, it doesn’t have time to crystallize, resulting in a stone with a shiny, glassy texture. Beautiful but also fragile like glass; because it formed so quickly it hasn't been hardened by time or pressure as other stones/crystals.
Indigenous tribes on nearly every continent where obsidian is found, used these the stone's natural traits to great advantage: soft enough to carve quickly into razor like precision for spears, arrows, and tools.
These points are Archaic in design, newly napped like the ancient forms. You will receive an arrow *very similar* to the ones pictured.
